Sailor Moon Inspired Wedding Planning So Far

Just getting engaged has been a whirlwind experience. I never thought I'd get a fairy-tale romance. It's not the standard fairy tale, it's our own version of one. Because we've both been working for 8 months now, we may actually have the money to have a real wedding.

The fiancee sees it as a glorified contract signing (which is what it technically is) but I appreciate his willingness to allow me whatever I want because it'll make me happy.

The Ring:  For those who missed the last post, my engagement ring is whimsical. We have the phrase "Don't Blink" engraved in my engagement band. First, for the show Dr. Who and second because it's the title to one of my favorite Kenny Chesney songs.

The Big Day Is: APRIL 8, 2017

The initial planning has it inspired by Sailor Moon and the love story between her and Tuxedo Mask.

My colors are rainbow and grey.

My matron of honor will be dressed in Luna's human form dress.

The colors are all inspired by the sailor scouts for the other bridesmaids.

These are the colors we are looking to use for bridesmaids.
They are from L to R, Apple, Pacific Blue, Tangerine and Emerald

My flowers will be crazy daisies and white roses.
Take the bouquets below and add in white roses here 'n there.

I'm walking down the aisle to the theme from Wind Waker.

One of our best friends is going to do the ceremony, and I have an invite list that is constantly growing.

Because of my WONDERFUL Matron of Honor Amelia and Bridesmaid Mychelle, I have a makeup artist, florist and baker for the cake!! They are scheduling everything for the next year from cake tastings to Medieval Times outings and sailor moon watching parties to brunches with facials and manicures and even planning a trip to go white water rafting for the wedding party!!

If you want to check out the work of my Matron of Honor, Amelia, her website is www.ADesignAdventure.com She is an artist. She makes multimedia pieces, makes coloring books and does graphic design. This is just the stuff I can name, as her talents go way beyond my comprehension of the art industries.

I am so so so so so lucky to have such amazing people who I love and am proud to call family.

Still working out tons of other details - even big ones - like where to have the event.

That's all I have so far, but it's a pretty good start, me thinks.
