Hello folks.  Say hi to your favorite male blogger on Indiestry Talk.  Of course, I'm the only male blogger...still...


LOW EXPECTATION VICTORY!

Did the ones put off by my writing style leave yet?  

Good.  

As a blogger, my main goal is to try and introduce you to the stranger things in life.  I want the world to understand that the world is strange, and sometimes wonderful.  In that, I will show you what causes me to be full of wonder.

Big Eyes @ The Nasher Sculpture Center, Post 2

This was a great experience. Amelia and I met up with some friends of hers. It's nice to be getting out more and more.

Here is the trailer to remind you what the movie Big Eyes was about. It considered an indie film, but features some great talent including Amy Adams, Christoph Waltz and Krysten Ritter.

Tuesday Thoughts and Reflections (The Pope, The Kitty, & The Job)

New job has been intense. I worked overtime yesterday and was at work a total of 10 hours! It being my first overtime day, and the busiest day of the week, it was more for us newbies than the seasoned CSR's. 

I managed to find someone to corrupt, tho. My supervisor wants me to bring in some Kombucha for him to try! That's going to be interesting. I'll let you know how it turns out. 

The Pope is in town today! While I'm not Catholic, I look forward to hearing what he has to say. I have read up on his viewpoints, and all I can say is I don't agree with most of them. 

Now from the Pope to a new and inappropriate adult puppet show..... THE MUPPETS!!!! 

I'm Excited.
"..make my life a bacon-wrapped hell on earth!" *dies*

The cat is in a culture-shock of sorts, as neither of her parents are home full-time anymore. Luckily, Amelia gives her some love here and there and feeds her when we're super late getting home.

Tonight, I think I'll be catching up on my Once Upon a Time and Blacklist. <3

Big Eyes @ The Nasher Sculpture Center, Post 1

This post has been very delayed, but I decided it had to be posted! We saw Big Eyes at the Nasher on this huge screen that was held vertical by something similar to a bounce house. It's a bit insane, but it makes sense!

If you have ever watched anime, you are probably already familiar with Bento. Now, Bento is not for the faint of heart... it's actually for those who LOVE food that smiles back.

They taste as good as they look, too!

Jauh, a song by an artist from Singapore

An old friend of mine speaks Malay, the national language of Singapore.

This is a video I came across on Youtube, and am really digging it. Hope you do too! I'm attaching an image of the lyrics below. I think this video is in Malay, but it might be Tamil. If anyone can clarify, that'd be awesome, and I'll update!
